Trump Won: Should we Stay?

The recent results in the United States elections have panicked citizens and non-citizens in the Uncle Sam's land. Not only do his continuous threats against immigrants have frightened an important part of the U.S.A. society, but also his despot, misogynistic and arrogant behavior throughout his campaign and life. Many people said during the presidential race that in case Trump won, they would get out of here as soon as possible. Relax people! I will explain to you in my own words (which you will love) why it's not a bad idea to stay and what might be the positive aspects of his victory. Not everything can be bad, come on!

Public Institutions do work here!

America (I don't like using this name for U.S. since that's actually our whole continent, but I'm going to use it so you don't get bored of the same words, how nice right?) is a country where public institutions have served its citizens in a fair and democratic way most of the times throughout history. Of course, there are always exceptions, but generally, we can say that The Supreme Court and The Congress have respected the American people. Otherwise, United States wouldn't be the most powerful and influent country in the world. Why would these institutions fail people now? The Republicans might have now the control of the Congress and Trump could appoint new conservative judges in the Supreme Court who could try to please him, yes, but the Congress could remove them through impeachment if they act in an undemocratic, despot and totalitarian way against the population. You don't see it possible? Remember that the Congress is formed now by several Republicans that don't agree with many of Trump's ideas, so everything is possible.

The issue is with the illegal immigrants

Trump has mentioned several times that his issue is against the illegal immigrants. Hopefully, he will just take actions against those who have criminal records. No criminal records while being illegal? Then you should be fine. I'm sure those illegals who have done nothing but working hard for themselves and the country will remain here. Trump probably said those unreasonable things in the campaign to gain voters. If this country behaves as it has done since civil rights began to be respected, you will be all right. This is the country of the freedom! History is with us! and it can't disappoint us.

Trump as a president can't be that bad!

I'm not a Trump supporter, don't get me wrong! But I think that since he has been a successful businessman, he might also have good skills to manage a country. Of course, that's a way harder difficult job, but he has proved to be a successful man. Maybe he does very well. Maybe he uses the skills he had to become and remain a millionaire man to drive the United States of America to the consolidation of the world's number #1 power. Maybe he becomes the best president in U.S. history. Who knows? Right? Nothing is guaranteed in life, but everybody deserves a chance. Trump represents a whole new model, and Americans have historically proved to be smart people. They wanted to see something different? There you have it. Let's see how good this man can be.
